I'm a new Sportrak owner. I have just bought an M reg soft-top. The soft-top seems to be a bit different from the one in the manual - eg. there are no removable side windows. I can't seem to make it fold down very tidily, nor can I work out how to secure it when it is down. Does anyone have a good set of instructions, with some good pictures that I could see 
or is there anyone in the Oxford area who would be willing to show me how they do it
Sportrak Soft top
There are many different soft tops available for sportraks, it may be that yours is an after market fit rather than a genuine daihatsu one. This would explain why it looks different to your picture. See if you can see the daihatsu logo on it any where.
I have a daihatsu one and the windows zip out and rear window rolls up so that it folds down into the small boot space. It does have fastenings to secure it but i have never used them because once it is folded down it stays down without needing to be secured.
Unforunately mine didn't come with instructions but there is a web site that sells soft tops and i don't think the windows zip out. this might be the one you have. http://www.monsoon4x4.co.uk/Sportrak.htm

I've got a sportrak 1.6elxi and my gears are grinding in 1st and reverse. Just been to garage and was told clutch was going and of course it was a big job with it being a 4 x 4! Anyone got any ideas of what price I'm looking at. He told me he was looking at paying £265 just for the part himself and of course it was going to take him a while to do it... also anyone got a soft top for sale or no where I can get one. I'm hoping for a nice summer this year!
