My d reg f70 diesel (non turbo) hates heavy throttle. In fact, floor it at any time an within a few hundred yards it practically cuts out. re starting on the key takes a while, then its back to normal, until you get to hill or anything that needs a bit power. Fuel comsumption seems ok
Any ideas??
Filters.
When did you last renew the fuel filter or purge it of water?
When did you last replace the air filter?
Start by checking or replacing both!
.... and clean the fuel tank out !
There's nothing quite so offpissing as to do all the work above, start up, and suck a load of clag that's lurking in the fuel tank into your new (and previously clean) filter !
