I am new to Sportrak ownership having bought a non runner (burnt out exhaust valve). During a quick look under the car I note that there is alot of lateral play (up to 1cm) in the NSF drive shaft...Is this normal? and if not any ideas what is wrong?

is the play at the diff endthe cv joint end ??
if at the cv joint end maybe the ballbearings in it are worn out if at the diff end more than likely that the pinion bearings are shot at !
