My local garage has advised me that we will need to get the brakes done before winter sets in.
Rather than pay them to do it I was going to attempt it myself and was wondering it this is easy to do?

Brakes
Changing front pads and rear shoes is very easy. Use the search facility on this site for useful information.
NB ... fully slacken the handbrake cable to release the rear drums from their shoes. If hand brake cable is tense the drums wont come off. To adjust the rear drums crank the handbrake cable.
