Bouncy Fourtrak

Hi all,

Ive just bought a Fourtrak Rocky 2.8 diesel on a H plate and the suspension seems bouncy than what I thought it would be. Does any one know if this is normal or could the shockers or springs be gone?

Shock absorber. Try bouncing

Shock absorber.
Try bouncing each corner of the 4track. Corner [wheel] should bounce and deflect two/three times with noticable diminishng bounces. More than 3 bounces then the shock is dead.
Have you tried looking at the shock absorber for leaks?

thanks mace. It doesn't continue bouncing as you suggested, I'll check the shocks for leaks etc when I find time. Thanks again.
