POWER SPLIT ON YRV 4TRAK

Forum:

hello once again to all dai maniacs!

based on the below....

http://www.daihatsu-drivers.co.uk/node/4143

can sb help me also for mine yrv 4wd?

i know about viscous but also have heard sth for 4 stage split: 100-0 / 60-40 / 50-50 / 40-60 (fron-rear) based
on the grip conditions....

POWER SPLIT ON YRV 4TRAK

as far as my personal feeling is concerned, when driving
straight or almost straight, it is 2wd and when only/if spinning of front ones occurs, immediate engagement of viscous takes place and leads to 4wd, but in some cases of uphill climbing, e.g. on rocky, gravel terrain or on slippery surfaces with low grip index, i feel like it is splited continuously.....

any opinions / info??

4 Wheel Drive.

2003 Sirion Rally 4. And I love it.
Don't like the new shape Sirion much.Sorry.

The split on the Sirion and YRV is 50/50.

You can not adjust it or play with it. It is NOT a Fourtrack.

50-50 ???

thanks indeed bob for your info.....
50-50 ??? it would be great....continuous / permanent ??
maybe this is the reason for the very good road behaviour-grip in all conditions......
honestly i do not want to adjust or play with it....
just wanted to know.....because i read that it begins from 100-0 and reached to 50-50......
anyhow, have you ever tried to look for lsd for yrs
