Never to old to play in the mud :-)

I fixed the problem, took in to get fixed and was a leaking hose, rubber had perished out of view visually. All it cost was the labour and a new hose and hasn't been a problem since, it is getting harder to get some parts new down under since Daihatsu pulled out of Aus and we have to get parts through Toyota dealers. It took me from August last year to finally get the genuine windscreen wiper blade and rubbers.

I managed to get the arms August last year, and after waiting and waiting I finally got a credit for the rubbers and blades. As I was at the dealers recently getting some other parts, they mentioned they had 3pairs that had come in. So I snapped up the three last sets in existence in Aus, as well as some other parts that are now deleted from Daihatsu.

The Rocky is running as well as ever, I had a sound from under the floor which I have been trying to trace for over a year, it was only over undulating road and tight corners on the black top. It was one of the side steps when I must have bottomed out at some stage in the last year, had slipped on the mounting bolts and was hitting against the body which is insulated from the chassis by rubbers.

I Have 210,000 k's on the clock and am looking at servicing replacing the injectors , it blows whitish smoke only visible at night in car light behind me, and the economy is down on what I was getting 2years ago. So the injectors are in need of a service, and or good clean out.
