F50 M.O.T. LOOMING DRIVER'S SEAT BROKEN HELP PLEASE

Forum:

Can anybody help me please, what other seats will fit in my F50 or does anyone know where I can find some originsl f50 seats or even just the seat hinge for the drivers seat and also which other seatbelt holsters will fit as mine are frayed I do not want to remove the original inertia mechanism. Thanks for reading and helping if you can

Re: Seat belts

Can't help you with an original seat I'm afraid, mine went in the skip years ago when I replaced them with Rover Metro ones. These fit well as they have a flat base held with 4 bolts just like the Daihatsu ones, and the sliding mechanism is fully contained in the seat rather than the car's shell. You would need to drill new holes to bolt them in, and reinforce them from underneath with a bit of plate or something similar.

When you say seat belt holster, do you mean the bit the buckle plugs into? I probably have two of these in the garage you can have for the price of the postage. Let me know if you are interested.
