Hi can anyone help me please. I need to replace the thermostat as my engine has started to not get warm for ages and am at a loss to where its situated. Is it below the powersteering pump at the front of the engine or at the rear near the distributor?. the sporty is a g reg ( 1990) petrol ,carb, 16 valves.EF model.Any info will be greatly appreciated, thanks, PAUL.
Thermostat
The thermostat is located just behind and below the power steering pump on the left of the block as you view the truck from the front. It is quite awkward to get to due to all the hoses etc

Thermostat
It may be a good idea to replace the hose clips with new jubilee clips when refitting the hose to the housing.
I also used some liquid sealant on the housing, as the hose leaked at first.
