With the wheels on have a close look at the front hubs. If they have a black dial like centre with a bar across the centre part that turns a 1/4 turn and the outer ring has free and lock on it then they are manual. If not then they are Auto and you must follow the instructions on the drivers door relating to engagement and disengagement. I have 2 Sportraks, one with each and although I prefer the Manual hubs as they seem to be less likely to siezure the Auto's are handier when you get into difficulty, provided they are not seized. Perhaps a fellow forum member can advise on how to prevent seizure?
