Battery Terminal

Forum:

The positive battery terminal on my Sportrak is broken. Can anybody suggest where I might get a replacement in London.

Terminal or connector.

If the terminal of the battery is broken then you will need to buy a replacment battery. If the positive lead connected to the battery terminal is broken then buy and fit a replacement connector. Halfords.

battery Terminal

As Mace says if the terminal on the battery itself has gone then a new battery is the only answer.

Before you buy consider the replacement of those small connectors with normal size connectors for both Neg and Pos. Not a difficult task. It will allow you to fit a normal battery on instead of sourcing one with those tiny terminals. I purchased a H/D Mini battery from Mackro £23 + VAT with 3 year warranty. I know you can still buy the small terminal batteries but not at that type of cost and not always off the shelf. Halfords do them, or did but the last time I looked it was £47 for a normal battery. Mines into it's second year and still 100% no problems.

Good Luck
