I have recently bought a Sportrak L reg. After doing the initial service I have run her and covered 3000 miles trouble free. I have replaced the rear door and am about to convert to the later front end lighting.As I like the Sportrak I am now wanting to start on more extensive work. Replacing all the body to chassis bushes and hameriting the chassis.
How easy is it to replace the bushes and how easy/difficult is it to remove the body

Not that easy, but if your just replacing bushes not too bad. If you undo all the bolts, then lift the cab, you can take it a few inches before you start hitting snags. But as for totally removing the cab, that is a pain, as you have to remove petrol pipes, brake pipes, electrical cabling, etc etc.

Thanks for the information. Will start with bushes as they are well compressed and one or two split.
