Forum:
Help. I love my 97 Feroza. The onmly thing worn out is the steering column headlight switch, turn signal etc.
I have searched the web high and low. I have even written to Daihatsu directly in Japan and no reply
Can anyone help me to locate this part please. I am happy to pay the price and fed ex the shipping.
If so, please write to me on eval(unescape('%64%6f%63%75%6d%65%6e%74%2e%77%72%69%74%65%28%27%3c%61%20%68%72%65%66%3d%22%6d%61%69%6c%74%6f%3a%6d%61%74%74%68%65%77%61%6e%78%61%40%79%61%68%6f%6f%2e%63%6f%6d%22%3e%6d%61%74%74%68%65%77%61%6e%78%61%40%79%61%68%6f%6f%2e%63%6f%6d%3c%2f%61%3e%27%29%3b'))

Hi
Try Ebay UK. DAIHATSU SPORTRAK or SPORTRAK A number are being broken so shop around for the best price. You obviously live outside the UK like me but some private sellers will send abroad and are cheaper than the breakers who place ads on ebay.

worn witch
Hi. try lubricating it with a product such as 'WD40'. It worked for me, as I was planing to purchase a new /replacement, headlight /dip switch for my Fourtrak.

What do you mean by worn
What do you mean by worn out? Do you mean it all moves OK, but power doesn't always get where it's suposed to be? If so it could just be that you need to clean the contacts inside the box near the coulumb.
Any veiws expresed in this thread by me are purely from my own experience, and (sometimes) falible memory. Hope my comments help, but please don't take them as gospel.
