was curious if anyone has had the same problem as i am experiencing with my G200 charade....she seems to be idling higher than usual when started and after reachin normal runnin temp she is idling high then low this continues while u are still at the traffic lights and then she she runs like normal when u accelerate....the high then low hight then low idle is a huge concern we put her in the shop and the mechanic said it was dirty fuel injectors we had them cleaned and it hasnt made a difference.
My 1.3 GLXi idles
My 1.3 GLXi idles between 500 - 1200 RPM
Stats at the high end then drops as she warms up then after a good run she idles at the low end.
The only odd fluctuations I've noticed are when I use the car electrics, for example if I power all the electric windows at once then the engine idle dips and the lights and power level dips. Braking and Power Steering also draw quite a bit of power.
Dunno if that helps, probably not, but at least see if using the car electrics/or not makes any difference.
