What model is it?

Forum:

I have just purchased a 1996 R-Reg DAIHATSU FOURTRAK TDS 2.8 TD
I am wondering if anyone could tell me the model number so i could get a manual for it?

Hard to tell from the photo,

Hard to tell from the photo, but it looks like a commercial with no rear windows. Is that right? If so, it's an F73 I think.
You can tell for sure by looking for the model type on the identification plate fixed to the bulkhead high up behind the engine on the right hand side (as you look from the front). The model type is also usually characters 7,8 and 9 of the chassis number I think.
Not sure if you'll find a manual for it - I haven't been able to find one.
Great car. Have fun!

Its something between an F70

Its something between an F70 and an F74. These are the SWB models. It has glass in the sides at the rear, look above the drivers side head rest, its heavily tinted. So, its maybe an F73. The 7x where x is between 0 and 4 is the SWB diesel, the x is between 5 and 9 its a LWB diesel, if the 7 becomes an 8, then its a petrol.
As previously stated, look at either the plate on the firewall (bulkhead, passenger side high up,) or look at the chassis number which is on the right hand side of the chassis, at the front.
