I just recently bought a 1990 daihatsu rocky. and i am planning on doing all redline oil in it. the question is I dont knoe what is best to put in the transmission, gears and everything else. please help me out. ~ Gabe

Running gear
Put ep 90 in all the running gear, nice easy simple no probs, when i say running gear i mean both gearboxes and axles (diffs - unless you have lsd's but i doubt it).
Full of ideas but no time to do them!!

oil
now since i go off roding and run my car at high rpms the oil would be fine to run? and what about transmission fluid? what is best suited for my vehicle? atf2, atf3? greatly appreciate the help! ~ Gabe

Ask the Redline stockist whats recommended, if they dont know they should not be selling it

atf transmission fluid is for automatic gearboxes, i assume on the rocky you wont have an auto gearbox, that is why i say put EP90 gear oil in all the drivetrain, its what suzukis use, land rovers etc etc we all use it in places where gears are running against gears, thats what it is designed for, i use Morris Ep 90 its good quality and its what we use in some tractors/ machinery aswell. If in doubt phone redline if your still confused.
