Are you aware of how the auto engaging hubs engage and dis-engage, i fear you may be driving round with them locked. Possibly causing your problems.

free wheeling hubs

Hi Thanks for your reply yes I am aware of how the hubs work I have a hand book which came with the sportrack so I am going off what the book says i have also used reversing going back about 4 meters to unlock the hubs at the moment to stop it happen when I set off in the morning I start in 4wd drive for a while and then stop and switch 2wd and then it not drop out while in use again that day. but I set of in 2wd after being parked overnight 200 yards or so and it will come out. very puzzling

Right youve lost me now

Right youve lost me now haha! as your original message of the problem has gone also, its difficult to work out. Could you just tell me what you do when you first get in the car ie. Are you in 2wd or 4wd? What exactly happens when you are driving along? Is it primarily happening when you go round corners? When you engage and disengage the hubs.
Thanks
