Hi i feel stupid writing this but how can i tell if i have a short wheel base fourtrak or long wheel base it's a three door fieldman which i would presume it swb i,m in the process of getting some side steps and they supplier asked me if it's lwb or swb????????? i,ve just sent the log book off to register in my name and hpi don't state so is it me or the supplier, many thanks in advance Dan

i nhave a 96 threedoor fieldman, its a long, dont look it, basically i was told if it has the high roof then its a long, the vin plate /chassis number will tell you, theres an F in it, mines got f78 there among the rest

if it's a short wheelbase model the rear wheel arch is immediately behind the door, if it's a long wheelbase there will be about 10" of panel between the door and the rear wheelarch.
