I've got my hands on some 16X7J wheels for my Fourtrak, for off-road use only.
Are the 7J's the ones classed as the "wide boy" wheels? Have I brought the wrong wheels?
What tyre sizes will fit the 16X7J wheels, is it as simple as anything that is 16"?
Im very low on knowledge when it comes to wheels and tyres, so I do apologise for the continuous questions about them!!

Just use a tape measure on the widths etc if your not sure what size they are etc, put it like this, 31 - 10.5 r 15 tyre is 10.5" wide so will fit that rim, so will a 12.5" tyre but no higher, but my personal off road advice - dont go to wide just get the high dimension tyres i remember watching a defender once on almost balloon tyres -( not pitbulls )- it just couldnt move in the soggy stuff it was hillarious we were all trying to get it out , but as soon as it got on fairly solid ground it climbed slopes with ease so you have to look at what ya doing where your going for tye choice.

These are wheels are the right ones. If you are going to use innertubes you can fit 205/80-16, 215/80-16 and 7.50-16. 235/85R16 can be fitted without innertubes. If it's for offroad use I think it's wise to you innertubes anyway. You can run very low tirepressure without any risks.
