Hi all
My new fourtraks dash light does not light up when in 4WD! It does not work when 4High button is pressed or when gear lever moved to 4Low. Any suggestions? Not a huge problem but would be good if easy to fix.

Yes, it all seems to be working well mechanically!!
Light Work
Check the obvious, is the bulb working, or has it blown, if so it is a simple matter of replacement. If the bulb is working it is most likely the switch located on the front drivers side of the transfer case, this is simply a plunger switch. Test for a 12 volt feed to the switch with the ignition switched on, if it has a feed put the vehicle in 4WD and see if there is an output from the switch, if not the switch is faulty, if it has an output it is a blown bulb or wiring fault.
If there is no feed to the switch it will be a fuse or wiring fault.
