ive just logged in to say that i have returned to the daihatsu world.about 2 years ago i had a 2.2 petrol lwb fourtrak,(the best car i ever owned,brilliant),it took me everywhere,no problems,no rust,fantastic.I had to sell it ,as needs must,etc,I went through a few cars,including a v8 discovery,(it scared the shit out of me driving over 60mph),and rust buckets.
ive,now come across a f reg 2.8 fourtrak softtop,its been owned by a family friend who passed away,and was an ex forces mechanic who hated landrovers,its been well looked after mechanically,spots of rust here and there,and needs a new roof,my kids love it,and my daihatsu mug has come out again,and i never crossed this web page off my favourites,i hope i can find a new roof for her,(i must like the rare models),if any one can help ,it will be much appreciated,(im now content), many thanks,gavin.
