That is a anti surge pleniem to stop the induction buffering when induction occcurs,If you remove the top there's is nothing inside.Hope this helps.Mick

Hi, this is nothing to do with your problem, which seems to be sorted. But to help us out can we see your engine without the arrow please. Our Charade 1.6 GSXi re-furb may have missing hoses underneath the arrow
