RALLY 2 or YRV TURBO

Forum:

hi guys, i need a bit help to make my mind up. given the choice of a rally 2 or a yrv turbo, and assuming both have about the same milage, year, condition, and price, what would be your pick and why.
cheers tom.

Depends on what you want to

Depends on what you want to use it for?

The Sirion is a lower to the tarmac car and will handle quite nicely around corners, although the power will be down from a YRV turbo.

If you want a point to point get to work car then the YRV turbo, as it has an Auto box for those get stuck in the traffic moments.

'15' Plate SEAT LEON 184 FR TDI. 240BHP/500nm Torque.
Past: '53' Plate Yellow YRV Turbo Approx. 150BHP

I think it would be down to

I think it would be down to 2 factors, Manual v Auto & practicality.

The Sirion has a small boot and isn't as practical as a YRV - we've had both in our household, the Sirion was traded for a YRV because it could't take pushchairs and other child paraphenelia!

If you prefer the auto get the YRV Turbo - it's a hoot and very rapid if you 'manually' select the gears to keep it on boost. Wink

Incidentally, although the YRV and Sirion do both have a 4 speed auto, it 'locks up' the torque convertor like an overdrive, listen carefully on the up changes. It does help the fuel economy, my YRV Turbo averages 40 mpg.

RALLY 2 or YRV TURBO

hi again folks, well i thought i was pretty much going for a RALLY 2, but after the various replies, i am having second thoughts. i think it might be best to have a drive in both, then have another think, only thing is they are not what you could call easy to find in garages.
cheers everyone tom
