overheating 4x4 terios

please help! ive recently purchesd a 2004 4x4 terios. she sounds like a beauty when u start her up but after about 15mile she overheats. headgasket is fine so is radiator think it maybe the thermostat due to her being sat for a long time, any ideas?

I had similar trouble and it was the rad, the thermostat was fine, I took it out and tested it with a pan of boiling water.

yes it was, I changed it for another and solved the problem. Before you do that you could try flushing it - you can buy a cleaner from motor factors you pour in and run the engine for a bit, then wash it out and refill it
