YRV turbo

Forum:

Hi everyone, just to let you my headgasket went on my YRV turbo.Dont know why hasnt over heated ,just started misfiring when first started.Did the job myself what a pain in the butt.Anyone else had a problem, would like to know!the car had only covered 35,000 miles.Cheers Mick49

Interesting....

Sorry to hear this, luckily I have not noticed this on mine although had a bit of an issue yesterday after coming back from the pub Wink noticed some water dripping from the passenger front side of the car on touching this is was cold, so started up the engine and after a while some more started to drip from underneath but again it was cold to the touch, so can only put this down to condensation from the air-con I had on on the way back.

First I have heard of a YRV turbo having such a failure..... I take it the valves were okay?
