Driving in France

Forum:

I believe you have to carry a set of vehicle light bulbs, the bulbs for the rear tail and brake lights on a Charade SL are somewhat strange in shape and seem particular to the model of car.

Are the same sort of bulbs used on the 2007 Sirion SE Auto?

Are they large

Are they large capsule/push-in types like these (or clear type)

Try this, although the two vehicles you metioned appear to have regular rear bulbs. Search Daihatsu YRV and look at the stop/tail bulb, is this the one you have? Once you click on the bulb you want, it appears on the main web page (it did on my screen anyway)

Re: Driving in France

West End Garage Woking Surrey gave me a set of bulbs on a sale or return basis, which was very nice of them and I am now going to purchase them as it is always a good idea to have a set. So thank you West End Garage.

Sorry I cant answer your question, but you might be cheaper getting the high vis vests, warning triangle and deflecting stickers for headlights, which are all also required to drive in France, before leaving home as they are expensive at the ferry ports. I managed to find a neat boxed set of necessary bulbs for my Terios at a local parts store in UK...might be worth asking? Console yourself with the fact that I had to fork out 750
