Hello all, I'm another new sportrak owner, it's a '97 and needs some love, it's been sat for three years, so needs all sorts doing including new tyres. It's got 225/70/R15 on there at the moment but a friend has offered me two 215/80 from a fourtrak but I don't know whether to go and get two more in case I get them all to a garage to be fitted and they're too big, rub on the body etc etc. I've had a look for a similiar post on here in case I'm repeating someone, I'm sure it's a common question. All help much appreciated!
215/80-15 have a diameter
215/80-15 have a diameter about 725mm. I have 31x10.50-15 on mine with a diameter of 788mm, which are about the biggest you can fit with no mods. If you off road it though they will rub on articulation
cheers
Rob
Tyres
Hi, just bought a sportrak and mine has
255/70/R15
which must be somewhat bigger than 225,
they look very good, and cant see any clearance issues whatsoever
Don.
255/70 have an overall
255/70 have an overall diameter of 739mm, wuite a bit smaller than the 31-10.50/ 15 so should indeed give you no problems
