you will be lifting all the chassis and engine/gearbox which will raise the centre of gravity making it easy to roll over....wast of time and effort in my opinion.
if you raise the body on the chassis you leave the heavy bits down where they are supposed to be. again whether its worth doing is a personal descision ... unless you fit bigger wheels to increase the diff height its probably a waste of time.
my sportrak with muds and no lift= pretty good but gets stuck quite a bit still.
my sportrak with muds, rear shackle kit from bloodred, front torsion bars adjusted to match, front anti roll bar removed= AWSOME!!!
can off road 100% better, the difference was unbeilivable, i did fit 4+1 rear leaf springs as well due to the old ones being saggy and flat, the thing handles better than before[due to stiff suspension as opposed to saggy] this vehicle has earnt the respect of all of my landrover buddies, has been through long stretches of water up to the bottom of the headlights and proved to be extremely reliable, worth every penny!! and no were not mates[bloodred]!! he was the only supplier i could find though.

extended shackles will lift the whole truck but the diffs are the same height above the ground, as are suspension components plus anything else that may get snagged, but it will enable more articulation if you fit extended shocks.
Body lift simply raises the body from the chassis, and is only beneficial if you then go on to fit bigger diameter tyres, as it gives greater clearance in the arches. The larger diameter tyres will then of course raise the truck including the diffs, so the best option for off roading is to do both
