Forum:
I've had problems with the electrics for a while now but only when is wet! The fuse keeps blowing for the tail, so taken it round to my local garage and he can't work it out either.
Its hard to explain, when i'm driving along the fog lamp light on the dash comes on and sometimes fuses, but today i put the car in reverse and it blow the fuse because the reverse light came on. But now if i put the indicator (only passenger side) on the all the lights on the back flash. I've checked the rear earth and connections.
Please please help

Tail light blowing fuses
My towbar lights were hanging down & melting off of the heat from the exhaust. This was blowing the fuses for the rear lights/radio/headlights. Sorted it by taping back up the cables and making sure they were clear of the exhaust.
Might help....
It sounds more of an earth
It sounds more of an earth problem than anything else, and not uncommon on these vehicles due to their wiring.
The way to test is to make up an earth lead and connect it to the affected lights earth, then to a clean earth. Operate the light or function and see if it cures the problem, if so earth bond the vehicle.
Look in the how it works section (electrics) for details on how to do it.
