Nope but thinking about it. The only problem with having a bigger turbo will be that the ECU may need modification to make use of it. Cannot see anything else mentioned about any piggy back system etc.. Being a VF21 sounds like it's a medium sized turbo, the type found on the Classic Subaru Impreza 2000 UK cars.

Larger Turbo longer spool up time.
This cars another example of sticking a mines bigger than yours Turbo
without any thought.
Look at the outcome, owners own words - "THE HEAD IS CRACKED SO IT IS MIXING THE OIL WITH WATER"
Think the Turbo had something to do with that.
Obviously ran it too lean, overheated and cracked the head and who knows what heat damage to the pistons and cylinders etc.

agreed...
yes I have to agree... the damage sounds very suspect.
As far as longer spool up time goes, sometimes I prefer a little lag, especially with bigger capacity engines. It prevents that uncontrollable wheelspin on pulling away.
Does anyone know of any aftermarket exhaust/turbo manifolds?
