Putting multiple pics in one post

Forum:

Can anyone tell me how to put multiple pics in a single post?

I recently wanted to show both sides of the YRV keyfob in a single post but couldn't. Then I tried to make a composite pic containing the two pics using MS Paint. That failed miserably so I tried it in Photoshop and the instructions were so long that I fell asleep reading them.

I use Paintshop pro

Hi Tony,

For the side light comparison which I posted on the Images section I used paintshop pro and joined up 2 photos and created one. But making sure the image was of the correct size etc...

For posting pics onto the forums, you will need to get yourself a login to some on the lines of photobucket; www.photobucket.com and upload your pictures there. Once done photobucket will provide a link underneath the pic (normally a Image Tag) once you have the link copy and paste this into your forum thread and by magic the link tag will then display the picture/image from photobucket onto the forum thread. This is what I did for the following reply to a thread that yellowYRV had put together about 'Scangauge'; http://www.daihatsu-drivers.co.uk/node/14571
as an example;

This is a pic of my YRV Turbo before mods:

to display the picture below I have copied the following image tag which by magic will turn into my picture from photobucket:

This is a picture of my old Subaru Impreza;

Hope that helps?

Jon.

Multiple/composite images

Thanks for that Jon.

I had hoped there was a simple way on the forum itself. Failing that I will look at many of the free photo manipulation progs to find one in which it is simple to mix images to form one.

I've noticed photobucket before but tend to shy away from that sort of thing.
