Having looked at the user manual and a couple of other places the anti-freeze recomended for the F73 is ethylene glycol
After using a 'well known internet search engine' it has shown up on various results that the ethylene glycol is toxic and can be replaced with propylene glycol antifreeze. Is there any performance differences between the 2 and what are peoples thoughts as to either antifreeze?

Both types are fine for your vehicle, ethylene glycol is what your vehicle is designed to run on.
As for toxicity, are you planning to drink it? if not it is not an issue, its toxicity is very low anyway. The toxicity stories are just scare stories, nothing more, and the manufacturers love them as it promotes the more expensive propylene products.
Just ensure you thoroughly clean your cooling system, add half the systems capacity of anti freeze, then top up with water.

Cheers assassin, for some reason i wasnt planning on drinking it! think it might be of more use in the cooling system!
Will grab some ethylene stuff from motorfactors sometime then.
For flushing just run through a couple of times as in the user book? Fill with plain water and run for short period and repeat a couple of times?

To flush properly i would advise the following.
Drain the cooling system and flush with clean water, set the heater to the hot position and run the vehicle until warm with a run. Drain now the clean water has circulated and if it is clean fine, if not repeat until the drained water runs clean, this has removed the loose debris.
Fill with clean water and add some cooling system cleaner, follow the manufacturers instructions for use.
Drain and flush with clean water again, this will remove any of the remaining cleaner from the system, then drain.
Add half the cooling system capacity of anti freeze, then top up with water. This method is used as you never drain all the water, and it ensures you get a 50/50 mix of anti freeze which is recommended.
