Well they certainly don't
Well they certainly don't help. And of course MOS pot holes get you on the NS!
But sxeriously, the first time I have a pretty good idea what caused it; A deep hole on a byway which had a tree root in it - there was an almighty bang and it ripped out the wheel arch liner!! Not long after that the grinding noises started.But there is no way the replacement should have gone this quick???
To be absolutely certain:: vague grinding noise all the time. When I turn wheel to RIGHT it gets very slightly less. When I turn the wheel to the LEFT - wow it gets loud!
