Forum:
I'm quite new to the Sirion but I do have one or two problems and the one that is annoying me at the moment is a creaking noise when I turn but I can only hear it at slow speed, I've looked to see if there are any points that need greasing but I can't see anything so anyone got any ideas what this could be? I am assuming its dry joints of some-sort.

Steering rack?? Is it a noise
Steering rack??
Is it a noise in the cabin(steering wheel/column area) or sounds like coming from the front...or maybe, rear?
Is it a squealing noise?
It sounds like its coming
It sounds like its coming from the front of the car and its a kind of dry creaking noise.

Generally
Cars in general (I've no experience of Sirions):
Creaks etc from the front:
Knackered upper / lower suspension ball joints (they are usually 'sealed for life') - on old Fiesta they are about £25 (parts), if I remember correctly.
Clonking whilst turning, especially full lock and driving slowly:
Knackered CV joint(s).
1985 Veg oil burning Fourtrak "Rocky".
I've looked at all the joints
I've looked at all the joints and all seem to be ok and tight with no wear
