The problem suddenly occoured, we eventually managed to get the indicators working by re-wiring, but unfortunatley have had to disconnect anything to do with the hazard lights, which is a seperate cable, I'm not sure if this is standard or not, the jobs are endless on this car. The wiring loom has been seriously cut into by one of the previous owners, tho we believe it's the same person as it's the same constant type of bodge - cut a live wire and add another 4 or 5 to various places using household connectors and cover in electricians tape. everything was permamently live when I first got the car, even with the engine off. Everything is either connected direct to the battery or cut in behind the ignition in not a good way so my boyfriend says!
It over heats, a random light goes out every 200 miles or so, it's not a bulb or fuce- the wiring has just come lose. For a cheap car I picked up to get me through fixing my vitara as it spat pistons without the cam belt going I've had nothing but issues, and have not yet fixed the vit.

When she goes, she's lovely, but we've just spent 2 nights replacing a hose under the intake manifold that blew, and replacing fuel hose we're a bit slow as we're looking at the manual and drinking coffee! He'll kill me if it breaks again!
