My recently aquired F50 has a badly chopped about wiring system , particularly on the charging circuits. For example with ignition on all the idiot lights shine brightly and the ammeter shows no charge to the battery . Without a basic cicuit diagram I am struggling to find the faults. Possibly a diagram from another model may suffice 
Does anyone have at least the charging circuit diagram including alternator and regulator Do the manuals on CD include the F50 model or is another model very close in specification . Any advice would be much appreciated.
F50 charging.
I had trouble with my F50 not charging, it turned out to be a blown fuse, there is an inline fuse holder where the loom runs across the top of the inner wing under the bonnet ( can't remember which side! ).
As for the ammeter, mine never seems to register either way, & the wiring is as original, however the charging system works well, gives correct voltages at battery etc.
