The only difficulty will be
The only difficulty will be removing the joints from their tapers, hit either side similtaneously with two hammers, this will shake them free.
When you assemble everything ensure you coat every thread with copper grease, ensure the joints have grease nipple holes and grease nipples, and fill them with grease.

Normally you just replace the rod ends.
