Fuel more likely.
A stored Sporty should not effect the immobiliser. You probably have a fuel problem. Try starting then remove a spark plug ---- is it wet with fuel?

i had similar problem after not using it for a month or so. turned out to be petrol problem (pump was stuck) sujest you make sure you have a good fuel supply before messin with electrics or imobiliser.
turned out a good tap with a hammer and a bit wd40 cured my problem.
