hi again had problems with my fuel gauge but think i have finaly fixed it.
the problem i have now is that when i turn ignition off the gauge stays at same position.
(the temp gauge returns to zero) but the fuel one stays where it was.
so can anyone tell me if this is the normal operation (i.e. what does yours do)
any help on this would be much apprieciated.

My Sporty's gauges both behave as you described.
