My 1998 fourtak TDX owned from new with just 30K miles has developed a strange gushing noise from the turbo/oil filter areas. The noise is almost like a beating heart pushing a liquid around perhaps oil through the filter ???

It increases with engine speed.

Any ideas appreciated - thanks

Well the noise continues despite changing the oil filter this am.

At last problem solved -it was simply a cracked/aged alternator drive belt complaining !
