Hi, I am having trouble trying to acquire a clutch cable for a Daihatsu FourTrak Fieldman 28.8 TDS We have tried the main agents and BluePrint OE copy cables but the ones they send out are not correct types insofar as one end that fits the bulk-head and clutch pedal is correct but the clutch fork end which should be a crimped eye end connector that would fit on the hook on the clutch fork. But on the cables we have received In place of the crimped eye there is a end that is designed to fit a slot instead of a hook but requires an eye to correctly connect it. I'd appreciate any answer that would get me a result. Regards Steve, Lancashire.

just had a look on ebay,
just had a look on ebay, plenty on there, some used for a tenner, there all the same because all the pedals n gearboxes are the same on all models, just had a thought....have you taken it apart correctly?

But on the cables we have received, In place of the crimped eye there is a end that is designed to fit a slot instead of a hook but requires an eye to correctly connect it. by the look of the photo you sent me that looks to have the same problem. I can see from your picture that the end with the D shackle is correct but its the other end that fits the fork needs to be a eye that would fit the hook on the clutch fork. Your photo doesn't show the other end clear enough to establish whether it is a crimped nipple or an eye what is the one I require.
