mpg and 70mph

I wouldn't run either of mine at that speed for long, they are unstable at 70mph, they are brilliant machines but more of a workhorse than a commute. Just wish they wouldn't f*****g rot like they do.

Just finished a year's worth

Just finished a year's worth of doing a 75 mile round trip in a Sportrak. I cruised at 55mph and the only vehicles slower than me were tractors and... fourtraks. People seem to drive them around 50mph.

Fuel economy at 70 will be ALOT worse than at 50, possibley even as bad as half.

They will sit at 70 MPH all

They will sit at 70 MPH all day long as the engines are bulletproof if maintained, I regularly sat at 80 with my old one, even though the top speed was 85, but would easily do more.
You will have slow down a little in heavy winds, but thats common sense, and you will use more fuel at 70 than 55.

christ assasin...id love to

christ assasin...id love to see you doo an evasive manouvre in a fourtrak at 80.....the word roly poly springs to mind.
