Hello friends!
I've just joined the forum - it's great to be here! Thanks.
Upon the advice of the mechanic who's been helping to get my newly acquired 4trak (1996 TDL 2.8 Diesel Rocky) up and running properly, I've gone ahead and bought a replacement gearbox and transfer box which is now sitting in my yard.
The plan is to fit it tomorrow, but I can't seem to find out what the correct Transmission Oil is. Can anyone advise?
I've looked on the forum here and I believe that I need to get hold of Gear oil (HYP 90 - 1 litre).
I need to get hold of the oil today for the mechanic to be able to do his thing.
Any advice would be most gratefully received. I just can't seem to find the information regarding the transmission oil.

buy yourself a big can of
buy yourself a big can of ep90 gear oil, sorted, thatll doo both gearboxes and diff, all that info is on this site or google.
