Dear All,
I am a new member on this community, so hi to all of you.
I am a Feroza driver since several years now (in other countries called differently, but it is the awesome little off-roady
The other day I turned to quickly when going downhill. After the car came to a stop, there was still a bit of a momentum and the car tilted to the right.
After some assistance of another off road the next morning, the car has been pulled back.
Part from a broken frontwindow, broken mirror, some bruces in the door and a air-filter full of oil, it didn't appear there was a lot of damage.
But, just to be sure, i wanted to check with you experts if i could expect other damage i should be aware off, like:
- the chassis out of balance (due to the weight on the right wheels)
- battery accid fluid that could cause corrosion
- other possible problems.
I would appreciate it a lot if you could share me your experience/ insights/ etc.
Thanks a lot in advance.
Martijn
Tilted feroza
Hi Martijn,
If I had rolled my Feroza / Sportrak I'd want to make sure that all the doors open and close OK. If the Bodyshell is not bent, then I'd check the oil levels in the engine, clean out the air filter and wash any battery acid off if it has spilt. I dont think you would bend the chassis. I've loaded a picture of chassis twisting in the images section under "destinations", when you drive off it goes straight again. Happy off roading.

How has the air filter filled
How has the air filter filled up with oil? I've not heard of this before. Is the rest of the induction system also contaminated?
