After a few days of 2nd and 3rd gear slipping slightly on hills, I have now found that my gear box won't go into reverse. Please does anyone have any ideas and might be a daft question but if I make sure I don't need reverse, is it likely that the other gears will stick soon

slipping? gears dont slip,
slipping? gears dont slip, they break, loose teeth, dont mesh, fall apart, but they dont slip....thats a clutch, does it grind when you try to put into reverse??

slipping
Thankyou Yes it was the clutch slipping but the gearbox is difficult to get into reverse...and now the radiator (the 20 year old one ,I think got damaged when mechanics were working on the clutch.) Honestly when you are a single female desperate for a working car i feel like i'm in a nest of vipers!
