Hi, Newbie here!
Hopefully i've posted this in the right (correct) place?!
Have just bought an F78 Riviera TDX 1997 with all the gizmo's and have a few questions; here goes: -
1) I want to fit locking wheel nuts - which are recommended and where do I get them?
2) I want to replace the exisitng nuts as they're a tad rusty - again, which are best etc. Is it worth changing to alloy ones - i've seen some on Grayston and they're coloured too!
3) Would i have free wheeling hubs? I've looked and there's nothin that looks like a manual one to me so i'm guessing not?? Is it worth getting any??
4) Any one advise where to get a paper manual; CD's are fine but being old scholl I love holding a manual!
5) Any suggestions on areas where i can easily improve any area - being new to Fourtrak's I haven't a clue where the strong, or not so strong, points are!
Cheers,
Steve
hello, right, rust...lots of
hello, right, rust...lots of rust, check wheel arches, sills under carpets and the rear crossmember on the not so well built independent model, nuts- bloodredoffroad or ebay, dont buy grayston rubbish, a manual in paperback...now n again you find one on ebay, pretty rare and expect to pay £50+ unless your lucky.
Full of ideas but no time to do them!!

no rust - i'm lucky!
No rust in any of those places; i'd heard the fourtrak rots boot floors so i've checked there too. It belonged to a chap who used it to tow a speedboat to France so has only ever towed a light weight.
Has been undersealed from new and well looked after - extras inc running boards, deflector kit, window deflectors, a/c rear load liner, mudmats etc...
Bloodred off road it will be then.
Just bought rear light lens - Milners at £30! Is this the best place for spares??
Hey, thanks for the reply too...
