I think your first issue will

I think your first issue will be the PCD. You have put that the PCD of the Ford alloys are a PCD of 108 x 4? Yet the Hi-Jet has a PCD of 110 x4? They basically wont fit the stud pattern, as the 108 holes will be spaced smaller than the 110 on your hub.

If you can get them to fit then:

Second issue is the Centre Bore. I take it you have spigot rings to fit to the alloys to make up the difference? If not you may find a bit of wheel wobble coming into play with those puma alloys.

Good Luck.

thanks for the reply!!!! thats just what i needed to know - i got he dimentions off another site... but didnt understand them - thanks thats great advice!

You will be able to fit them

You will be able to fit them by buying some wobbly nuts! Also known as PCD variation nuts.

They are a special wheel nut with a washer that can moves around on it's seat when torquing down, Allows the fitment of 2-3mm PCD wheel difference.

The spigot rings to locate the wheel onto the hub is easy and cheap (about £10-£15) to get custom made to the correct size. I know a place if you need.

Question is, how safe are

Question is, how safe are these "wobbly nuts"?

Also when it comes to spigot rings, I know in the past if you get spigot rings that can get stuck onto your hubs. I know when I had a blow out on my first set off 15" wolfrace alloys on my YRV, it was a nightmare in the dark trying to prize off the spigot ring to get the standard spacesaver wheel on Sad

Wobbly nuts are safe, Many

Wobbly nuts are safe, Many use them. Fiat owners especially.

The washer only moves to take up the slight variation when torqing up.

Spigot rings seizing..copper grease should be used on them, and brake disc/wheel mounting face.

Hijet Wheel Fitment

Hi there,

I've just joined the forum but had Hijets for a while now.

I saw these questions about the wheel fitment of the Hijet, that damn pcd4x110, having crossed this bridge a while back I wrote an article on my Hijet website all about the different options, problems and solutions.

I've not used wobble nuts, mainly because I have found pcd4x110 wheels at the right money - less than a set of wobble nuts! But also because the Hijet does not have any hub/spigots on the back, so there is nothing to centre the wheel while your bolting it on with the Variation nuts/Wobble nuts.

Make your own choice after all, but have a flick across my wheel fitment page on my hijet site as it might give you some ideas.
