F20 Help

Forum:

Hello. I wondered if I could pick some brains. Im trying to find a service kit for the carb and have had no joy. I have tried everything I can think of including Toyota parts dept. I can't even find any info on the make of the carb. Also I would like at somepoint to fit a weber, would anybody happen to have an adapter for one they want to sell? Cheers in advance. One last thing. Anybody know how the vacuum pipes go? I
think mine are a bit bodged and I have an unconnected one.

Whip it off and take it to a carb specialist, they will identify it and order a service kit, or let them do it for you as it will be warranted and cost very little.

Cheers, I think that's how

Cheers, I think that's how I've got it. Just got a weber carb for it now so will mess around with that rather than the old one. Seems like I will have plenty of time to do it. After 12 years in a shed it went straight through its mot but can't get insurance yet as its not on the MI database. Dvla seem to think the truck is non existent.

You have four pipes. Pipe one

You have four pipes.

Pipe one is the copper feed pipe which is the fuel pipe going to the left hand front of the carb.

Pipe two runs from the right hand side of the carburettor from the manifold adaptor over the rear of the roccer cover to the breather on the left hand side rear of the engine block. 6 or 8mm diameter.

Pipe three runs from the inlet manifold at the top near the front, to a diagphram on the right hand side of the carb.

Pipe four is the vacuum advance which runs from the left hand side of the carb to the distributor.

They do because mines

They do because mines registered, mine had been stood for about the same time as yours.
