Well it failed its MOT, BAH!!! 99T L701 Cuore btw. Rear brakes, number plate, and as described by the MOT man, nearside and offside steering arms. I eventually diciphered this as the track rods. They seem to be none existent on the parts lists of most online car parts dealers and my local guy is struggling to locate any, though he's waiting to hear back from a new supplier who apparently specialises in Daihatsu parts, will see.
Anyway, i'm wanting to know if the steering rack or track rods from other Daihatsu models ie, Sirion, YRV etc will fit in the eventuality I have to get one from a breakers yard etc. It's a none power steering model. This would probs be the cheapest option should I find I can't new parts if they become available. As it is i'm in a quandrary as I need the car to get to work, but as it's MOT expired today i'm without a car til I can get it mended. And to top it off i'm skint, really skint. 
Any advice will be more than welcome and hugely appreciated.

My Cuore needed the bottom
My Cuore needed the bottom arms (aka Track control arms)for it's last MOT, Which was done just before I bought the car so I didn't have to pay for that myself.
Are you sure it's track rod steering ends the MOT tester is talking about, And not the bottom arms?

The track rods themselves.
Nah, it's the track rods, tie rods, steering arms, whatever you call them. The parts that are essentially a part of the steering rack, that come out of the steering rack and have the track rod ends attached and then they in turn attach to the hub assembly. http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-INNER-TIE-ROD-END-FOR-DAIHATSU-CUORE-96-09-MOVE-98-02-/260849605169 These things. The big bit at the end will be inside the rubber boot on the steering rack. Be easier to get a full steering rack, but I can't find one of them either.

Well I can get brakes, number plate, track rod ends, but anything else steering rack related seems unavailable anywhere.
Do any of the racks from other models fit? Bearing in mind mine is the none power steering model. There are second hand racks on eBay but they all seem to be the powered racks and I wouldn't suppose they'd be any good to me anyway unless it can be fitted and used just with a lot of extra weight in the steering. I'm getting desparate now, I didn't want to have to but I can see myself scrapping it, and just after I fitted a brand new exhaust as well.

Yay! I've sourced parts and ordered them, and not too expensive either. Just hope the fitting goes ok.
Lots of swearing and bloodshed anticipated.
