Highly recommend! Snow Rubber!

Forum:

Hi folks

To all of you out there with Sirion and YRV 4Traks etc...

I have on recommendation fitted mine just over a week ago with Vredestein Quatrac 3 tyres!

The results in this weekends bad weather have been incredible!

It does not struggle at all! The driver was 6" deep in snow and it pulled through and down our lane about 1 in 4 with no loss of control or grip.

I have had to make two runs across the hills to hospital to collect relatives in howling drifting snow and have got where large 4x4s couldn't!

So I would highly recommend, and having run them for a couple of week in normal conditions I have seen no loss of economy or grip .

Think it came to £240 for a set from www.mytres.co.uk and the local garage fitted for £10 a corner. That was nearly £80 cheaper than the supply and fit from the local Vredestein dealer!

I've heard they're good.

I've heard they're good. Coming out at £315 for a set of 185/55/15 for a 4Trak. So with fitting and the occurrence of times they'd make a difference I couldn't warrant fitting them. Had 4 Falken ZE-914's fitted today via Black Circles for £257. If I still live as uber-rural as I am at the moment, I may consider winter tyres next year.

Yeah

I am using Vredestein all weather tyres for years and I am very happy with relation price-quality.
